Hillary Ditches LGBT Group So She Can Be On ‘Saturday Night Live’

Hillary Clinton is scheduled to appear on “Saturday Night Live” for its season premiere Oct. 3, a cameo The New York Times is calling “top secret.”

This will be Clinton’s second time on the late night show. Her first was during her presidential run in 2008 when she was in a skit alongside Amy Poehler, who impersonated Clinton that season. (RELATED: Hillary Clinton To Lena Dunham: ‘I’m Puzzled When Women Aren’t Feminists’)

“In order to appear, Mrs. Clinton turned down the chance to give the keynote address to the influential Human Rights Campaign, the country’s most powerful lesbian and gay rights group,” the Times reported Thursday.
