Taylor Swift donated $50,000 to a GoFundMe page for her backup dancer’s nephew Ayden, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

The singer left a note with her donation and said she was praying for the family.

“Baby Ayden, I’m lucky enough to perform with your uncle Toshi on tour,” Taylor wrote on the page. “All of us are praying for you and your mama and sending so much love your way. Love, Taylor.” (RELATED: Taylor Swift Apologizes After Nicki Minaj Blames Nomination Snub On Being Black)

The 13-month-old was diagnosed with cancer after he spent two weeks in ICU, the page’s description says, and his mother Lindsey was laid off from her job because “she had to be by his side at the hospital for the past few weeks.”

Ayden’s mother thanked Swift for her donation.

“Taylor you have taken an enormous weight off my shoulders by allowing me to walk this journey with my son and be his protector,” Lindsey said. “I know this is a battle you are familiar with but something no one can be prepared for.” (RELATED: Taylor Swift’s Surprise Guest Shocked Everyone — Especially This Grandma!)
