Lena Dunham is joining Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail.
The 29-year-old actress is going to stump for the presidential candidate in Iowa this January, the Des Moines Register reported Tuesday.
“Lena has spent a lot of time with Hillary, and I bet she’s got some great stories to share,” the organizing director for Hillary for America said in a statement.
Dunham will make stops in Des Moines and Iowa City, and Clinton supporters are being encouraged to join in a raffle for a chance to meet Dunham. (RELATED: Hillary Clinton To Lena Dunham: ‘I’m Puzzled When Women Aren’t Feminists’)
The actress has been a supporter of Clinton’s for some time now.
When Dunham interviewed Clinton earlier this year for her newsletter, she asked her if she identified as a feminist. (PHOTOS: Lena Dunham Goes Too Far While Supporting Planned Parenthood)
“Absolutely,” Clinton said. “I’m always a little bit puzzled when any woman of whatever age, but particularly a young woman, says something like, ‘Well, I believe in equal rights but I’m not a feminist.'” (RELATED: Megyn Kelly: Hillary Clinton Should Not Talk About Lenny Kravitz’s Penis)
