Nikki Haley is endorsing Sen. [crscore]Marco Rubio[/crscore] for president.

According to the Charleston Post and Courier, Haley will appear with Rubio Wednesday night at 6 p.m. EST at a town hall in Chapin, S.C., to announce the endorsement.

Earlier on Wednesday, the South Carolina governor told Greenville Online that she is “doing what a lot of people in South Carolina are doing.”

“I’m looking at all the candidates that are there and trying to figure out who that person would be.”

“I want someone who is going to hold Republicans accountable,” Haley continued. “And I want someone who is going to make a difference, not just for our party but for every person they represent in the country.”

Furthermore, Haley noted that Trump’s criticism of her response to the Syrian refugee crisis is “everything a governor doesn’t want in a president.”

“We don’t want a president that’s just going to bash and sit there and tell us what we’re not doing right,” she added. “We want a president that is going to help us fight, help us win and help explain why we don’t want Syrian refugees and why prisoners at Guantanamo Bay don’t need to come to South Carolina.”

South Carolina’s Republican primary takes place this coming Saturday, Feb. 20.
