Rihanna said she canceled her performance at the Grammy Awards Monday night an hour after the show started because she was sick, but a new report claims that’s not true.

The 27-year-old singer had a huge meltdown after she didn’t like the way her rehearsal went. She was “loud, upset and bailed on the event,” TMZ reports. (RELATED: Taylor Swift Just Blew Kanye West Away With This Acceptance Speech)

After she canceled, Rihanna’s rep said she was dealing with a severe case of bronchitis and that was why she couldn’t perform.

“Based on Rihanna’s examination, after Grammy rehearsal today, Rihanna‘s doctor put her on vocal rest for 48 hours because she was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal chords,” the rep said.

“The antibiotics she has been on for three days did not kill the infection adequately therefore she cannot perform safely.”

But sources who were there say that’s just not true.

“Rihanna sang flawlessly two nights before the Grammys at a Lionel Richie charity event,” TMZ claims. “Several sources say her voice was also great at the Grammys rehearsal.”

It sounds like she and Kanye West have a lot in common. (RELATED: Kanye West Has A Complete Meltdown Minutes Before Going On Stage)
