NBA hall-of-famer — and one time “Celebrity Apprentice” contestant — Dennis Rodman defended Donald Trump from an attack made by Ted Cruz during Thursday’s GOP debate on CNN.
“In 2013, when I was leading the fight against the ‘Gang of 8’ amnesty bill, where was Donald?” Cruz asked the crowd. “He was firing Dennis Rodman on ‘Celebrity Apprentice.'”
Friday morning, Rodman noted that based on Trump’s current lead in the polls, Cruz will probably also be hearing the real estate mogul’s television catchphrase sooner rather than later.
