Asked whether he would condemn and disavow the support of former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke, or even the KKK itself, Donald Trump refused.
“I just don’t know anything about him,” Trump claimed. He did not want to condemn “white supremacist” groups because, he said, “You wouldn’t want me to condemn a group that I know nothing about.”
Moments later, CNN’s Jake Tapper asked “The Ku Klux Klan?” Trump still refused.
Previously Trump had disavowed support from both white supremacists and David Duke.
