During a Wednesday interview on CNN’s “New Day,” Donald Trump told host Chris Cuomo that Hillary’s loss to Bernie Sanders in the Michigan Democratic primary illustrates that “the people don’t want her.”
Trump told Cuomo that Clinton will still win the nomination, “assuming she’s allowed to run.”
“I’m assuming she probably will because the Democrats will make sure nothing happens to her,” he added. “Assuming she’s allowed to run legally, I think she’ll definitely get the nomination. This was just a bump.”
“But losing Michigan is more than a bump in the general,” the real estate mogul continued. “It shows the people don’t want her.”
