Amazon founder and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos criticized Donald Trump in a wide-ranging interview Tuesday.
“It’s not appropriate that Trump is trying to freeze or chill the media who is critiquing him,” the billionaire told Walt Mossberg after the Recode Code Conference. “The best defense against speech you don’t like is a thick skin. If you can’t tolerate critics, then don’t do anything new or interesting.”
Trump — the presumptive Republican nominee — has recently attacked the media for unfairly covering him, while largely ignoring scandals allegedly involving Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation. (VIDEO: White House Can’t Defend Hillary’s (Lack Of) Cooperation With IG Probe)
So I raised/gave $5,600,000 for the veterans and the media makes me look bad! They do anything to belittle – totally biased.

Trump wasn’t the only billionaire Bezos attacked in his CNET interview.
He also criticized PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel for funding Hulk Hogan’s lawsuit against Gawker. (RELATED: Gawker Founder Has No Regrets About Outing Peter Thiel As Gay)
“I don’t think a billionaire should be able to fund a lawsuit to kill Gawker,” he explained. “Seek revenge and you dig two graves.”
