Amy Schumer has cut a scene involving a gun from her upcoming film following the terror attack in Orlando.

On Thursday, E! News reported that the 35-year-old actress and comedian, who is currently filming in Hawaii, has had crews cut out a scene from her movie that involved a person firing a gun at people after 49 people were killed at a gay nightclub in Orlando on Sunday. (RELATED: Amy Schumer Continues Anti-Gun Crusade: ‘We Need Outcry)

Recently, the actress talked about the issue of gun control on her show “Inside Amy Schumer” in a sketch called “Welcome to the Gun Show.” (RELATED: Amy Schumer Wants The Media To Say ‘Gun Safety’ Instead Of ‘Gun Control)

In the sketch she plays the host of a Home Shopping Network and offers to sell guns to anyone for the price of $39.95.

Schumer has been a vocal advocate for gun control, joining her cousin Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer to advocate for stricter gun laws and put an end to “gun violence.”

The film has yet to be named but will star Goldie Hawn and is slated to come out next Mother’s day, May 2017.
