Facebook has deleted a viral video revealing how video company NowThis heavily edited footage of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump after The Daily Caller published an article on the video, according to the video’s owner. “[Facebook] has removed my viral video exposing the fake propaganda against Donald J. Trump… However … NowThis keep pumping out the poisonous propaganda freely,” Singh, the page’s owner, said in a post on his page, River Entertainment. “This is very scary.”

Speaking to TheDC, Singh said his video had reached more than 2 million views after being online for a week. He said he received no notification or explanation from Facebook, noticing it was gone on his own after a visit to his page.

“We get shut down or censored and the hate pages spreading defamatory propaganda against Republicans stay up… It is still an unfair realm for us,” Singh told TheDC.

The video published by NowThis contained clips that had been cut-and-pasted from Trump’s statement following the Orlando shooting to paint Trump as racist against non-Americans and insensitive to the victims. Singh included both NowThis’ edit and Trump’s original speech, and demonstrated where NowThis cut away from Trump to skew his message.

Supporters of the page criticized Facebook for deleting River Entertainment’s video and encouraged Singh to repost his video on YouTube — which he has not done yet, although a fan posted it on a private page — as well as Facebook:

Singh has restored the video to his page, and it has since gained almost nine thousand views in ten hours. Facebook could not be reached for comment.
