Google Doodle honoring scientist Nettie Stevens’ 155th birthday Thursday shows gender is based on biology and genetics, thus implying sex is not a social construct.

The image of Stevens, who discovered the presence or absence of a Y chromosome determines sex, furthers the idea that gender entails physical implications. (RELATED: Google Ignores D-Day Anniversary After Memorializing Left-Wing Heroes)

“XY,” as featured in the Doodle, represents a male chromosome. Today’s progressive narrative, however, states gender is a social construct. Genetic makeup does not define gender, according to some, rather it is how a person identifies that determines their sex. This is often exemplified through the selection of an unconventional preferred pronoun, like sie, zie or hir.  (RELATED: Transgender Teacher Gets $60k After Co-Workers Won’t Call Her ‘They’)

Google has previously outraged users with its daily Doodles, including one that honored Osama Bin Laden supporter Yuri Kochiyama in May.
