Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton raised roughly $18 million in three days after going on a secretive campaign tour throughout California this week.
The former secretary of state was essentially paid $270,000 an hour for stumping along the western coast and hobnobbing with famous people like former basketball player Magic Johnson, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and entertainer Justin Timberlake. Reporters were not permitted inside any of the fundraising events, according to the Daily Mail.

Cook also met with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan in June to strategize on how to best finance campaigns for House Republicans.
August will likely be the largest fundraising month for Clinton, who has raised more than $435.3 million, according to OpenSecrets, including Super PACS and individuals in general. Clinton and her surrogates have hosted at least 54 events in the last two weeks of the month, according to a schedule obtained by The Associated Press.
