The first game of the World Series produced strong ratings.
The Cleveland Indians shut out the Chicago Cubs 6-0 at Progressive Field in Cleveland Tuesday night. The game averaged a 12.6 overnight rating for Fox in metered market households — up 20 percent from the first game last year.
It was the first time he Cubs have played in the World Series in 71 years.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, it is also the best overnight scores for any World Series game in the last five years.
