President-elect Donald Trump must “step down before the inauguration before they give him the nuclear codes,” Joy Behar said in an unhinged rant Monday.

“Do we have to wait until the hammer and sickle is on the American flag before we stand up to this guy?” she asked.

“The View” panel was discussing a Washington Post report that claimed the CIA believes strongly that the foreign government intervened in the U.S. presidential election to help Trump win. The FBI has done its own investigation and has yet to find any conclusive evidence to support that finding. (RELATED: The Women Of ‘The View’ Turn On Kellyanne Conway: You Sound ‘Delusional’)

“It’s like they are discrediting the CIA, his campaign and he, the president-elect of this country, is discrediting the organization that basically protects us from foreign invasion,” Behar said. “Isn’t it time for him to step down?”

“I mean, he has to step down before the inauguration before they give him the nuclear codes,” she added. “We are at risk when the president of the United States is fighting with the CIA. That is a terrible thing.” (RELATED: Joy Behar: Trump Is Bringing ‘Mental Illness’ To The White House [VIDEO])

“Paul Manafort, who used to be his campaign director, he had to quit because of his ties to Russia,” Behar continued. “I mean, do we have to wait until the hammer and sickle is on the American flag before we stand up to this guy?”

Last week, the host called into question the president-elect’s mental health. During the “After The View” show, the host told the panel Trump would bring “mental illness” to the White House.

“Do you know how much damage he can do in four years?” Behar exclaimed. “Do you have any idea? Trump has no experience, [Steve] Bannon has no experience in politics.”

“Yeah, but this new administration is bringing in something in we haven’t seen in a long time,” Goldberg said.

“Mental illness,” Behar interjected. “Sorry, I couldn’t control myself.”

“Maybe we can still get him out. There’s a possibility,” she added. “It’s not that I don’t agree with him. He’s not right in the head. Donald Trump has never appeared stable to me when he has come on the show. No, he has not.”
