Vice President Mike Pence was summoned to the Senate floor on Thursday to break a tie on a bill aimed at limiting Planned Parenthood’s federal funding.
Despite Republicans’ 52-48 Senate majority, Pence was forced to break 50-50 tie on the procedural vote after Alaska and Maine Republicans Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins sided with the Democrats, reports Fox News.
