Hillary Clinton called herself “part of the resistance” during an appearance Tuesday at a Women For Women International event.
Clinton joined CNN Correspondent Christiane Amanpour for the event, where they discussed Syria, North Korea, and eventually, Clinton’s failed presidential campaign.
“I can’t be anything other than who I am,” the former secretary of state said leading up to her “resistance” revelation.
“I spent decades learning what it would take to move our country forward, including people who, you know, clearly didn’t vote for me,” she continued.
“I’m now back to being an activist citizen and part of the resistance,” Clinton finished to thunderous applause.
