Earlier this week, Hillary Clinton laid out all the reasons she lost because it couldn’t have been her fault. Among those she blamed: the Democratic National Committee! Yep, the same people who rigged the primary to push out Bernie, they’re to blame for the fact that she couldn’t even beat Donald Trump.
If you think this is ungracious or ungrateful of her, then you just haven’t thought it through as deeply as the always-reliable Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN):
“There is no time for us to go back and try to figure out who shot John. We’ve got to figure out what went wrong so we can fix it and then move forward in an aggressive way.”
Who shot John… Lennon? No, apparently “Who shot John” is a genuine colloquialism. So at least I learned something from all that.
He’s quick on his feet, that Keith Ellison. Why, just the other day this happened, and he managed a last-minute save:

There are people who think praying five times a day can dull the wits, but that’s racist. (Criticizing any religion but Christianity makes you a bigot.)
With guys like Keith Ellison and Tom Perez running things, the Democrats have a bright future. I hope Keith never, ever goes away.
