Owner of the Houston Rockets, just donated $10 million dollars to Mayor Sylvester Turner’s Hurricane Harvey Relief fund. The Rockets want to help the city come back even stronger and this is a great way to do it.
Yesterday, Leslie Alexander had donated $4 million, but according to TMZ Sports, as of today he increased his donation in over doubling the amount and donating $10 million.
The team said in a statement according to USA TODAY Sports, “Our hearts are heavy seeing the devastation that so many of our friends, family and neighbors are experiencing. Please stay safe, Houston.”

Chris Paul, who recently signed with the Rockets, donated $50,000 to the fund started by Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt. Watt’s fund has skyrocketed with donations and it has currently raised $2 million.
