In case you were stressing, President Trump‘s ego is alive and well.
While delivering a stump speech outside the Annaville, Texas Fire House on Tuesday, he stood on a ladder high above a Secret Service SUV and faced what a White House pool report called a “sizable crowd.”
You had better believe this was NOT Teleprompter Trump.
“Using a mic and amp, his voice just about carried above the wind and cheers.”
“‘Thank you” he said to applause. We love you, you are special, we are here to take care of you,’ he said. ‘It’s going well.'”
“‘What a crowd, what a turn out!” he exclaimed to the “throng of hundreds.”
Leave it to Trump to notice his own allure in the midst of a deadly storm.
The pool report by AFP‘s Andrew Beatty indicated that not everyone in the crowd were big fans of Trump.
One banner read: “Liar, cheat, racist.”
