Sylvester Stallone’s ex-wife Bridgette Nielsen is trying to clear her husband’s name against a claim that he sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl at a Las Vegas hotel in 1986.

Nielsen claims that the encounter never happened because she and Stallone were “inseparable” at the time the alleged incident occurred, while the actor was filming “Over the Top.” (RELATED: Sylvester Stallone Denies Sexual Assault Allegations As ‘Categorically False’)

“During the summer of 1986 we were newlyweds. I was inseparable with Sylvester when ‘Over the Top’ was being shot in Las Vegas. The story claims that at approximately 8:30 in the evening during the shoot of the movie the person claims she was in our suite at the Hilton Hotel,” Nielsen told TMZ.

“This incident did not occur. Most of the day, I would watch him film, then we’d have dinner and go to our room. No other person was in the room with him, but me.” (RELATED: Sylvester Stallone Accused Of Sexually Assaulting A 16-Year-Old Girl)

The claim from the unnamed women surfaced through an old police report obtained by The Daily Mail last week. Stallone was accused of forcing the 16-year-old girl into a threesome with his bodyguard in his Vegas hotel room, according to the police report. In the report the girl also claimed that Stallone threatened her not to talk about the sexual encounter afterwards because he and his bodyguard were married at the time.

One of Stallone’s representatives denied the reports with a statement last week shortly after the accusations first started to surface.

“This is a ridiculous, categorically false story. No one was ever aware of this story until it was published today, including Mr. Stallone. At no time was Mr. Stallone ever contacted by authorities or anyone else regarding this matter.”
