CNN is going even harder after President Donald Trump for reportedly drinking up to 12 diet cokes a day and eating a lot of fast food.

Just an hour or so after a terror attack in New York City on Tuesday, CNN took seven minutes out of their programming to discuss Trump’s TV habits and his love for diet coke. (RELATED:CNN, MSNBC Cover Trump’s TV Habits During NYC Explosion)

That seemingly wasn’t enough coverage for them, so they brought chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta on for two different segments to discuss how the diet cokes may affect the president’s health.

On Monday night, Gupta told anchor Don Lemon that the caffeine in diet cokes may cause “irritability, insomnia, sometimes you become more unfocused.”

Lemon admitted he loves diet cokes with lime but denied he drinks it as often as the president.

CNN’s “New Day” on Tuesday morning also sought Gupta’s insight.

“I mean, I guess it’s better than regular coke,” anchor Chris Cuomo chuckled.

“Is it?” Alisyn Camerota responded incredulously.

“It doesn’t take a doctor to tell you drinking four liters…when you start breaking it down into caffeine content for example, it’s a lot.” Gupta explained. “That alone is way more than the amount of caffeine he should be drinking in a day.”

Gupta also blasted Trump for eating a lot of fast food, stating that because of the chemicals in those meals it’s not “real food.”
