Sarah Huckabee Sanders is not one to back down to her critics and fired off a tweet this week that should put “piegate” to rest once and for all.
Over Thanksgiving, the White House press secretary tweeted out a photo of a pecan pie she baked for her family. But it looked too perfect for CNN contributor April Ryan, who questioned whether or not Sanders made it herself. Since then there’s been a lot of back and forth about it since then, Sanders just shot down the whole debate with one picture. (RELATED: Sarah Sanders Gracefully Ends #PieGate)
Sanders tweeted out another photo on Wednesday from her home state of Arkansas, but there wasn’t a pie to be seen. The White House press secretary traded her apron and baked goods for camouflage and a shotgun instead.
