First lady Melania Trump has been working on her first State Dinner for several months, and all of her hard work has apparently paid off.
The Trump family is hosting French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, for the first State Dinner of the Trump administration.
The First Lady opted to decorate the State Dining Room in the White House with white and gold tableware and elaborate floral centerpieces.
The ornate plates and silverware sit atop a cream and gold embroidered tablecloth.
The Cross Hall leading to the entrance of the State Dining Room features 1,200 cherry blossom branches in tall black vases.
