CNN legal analyst Mark Geragos was brought on the network several times on Thursday to opine about the Bill Cosby sexual assault trial.

It was an interesting choice for CNN given that Geragos is the co-defendant in a sexual harassment lawsuit. Geragos and Donatella Arpaia are being sued by a former employee of their co-owned pizza chain who claims she was fired after she complained about sexual harassment. The suit also claims that a lawyer from Geragos’ firm threatened “monetary sanctions” if the woman went through with the lawsuit.

Nonetheless, CNN looked to Geragos for his opinion on the Cosby trial, including the guilty verdict.

During the 2pm hour on CNN, Geragos knocked famed lawyer Gloria Allred for celebrating Cosby’s conviction.

“Well, it’s not my first rodeo with Gloria and having her exalt and be depressed when you go outside, I don’t know,” he said. “I understand she’s excited…so I guess I’ll give her a pass for that but at some point it’s not something that I think is properly to be cheered that somebody’s convicted.”

“It’s a little unseemly,” he added.

The Daily Caller reached out to CNN and Geragos for comment but did not receive a response by press time.
