A progressive super PAC funded by liberal billionaire Tom Steyer warns mothers in a new ad that the Republican Party is turning their children into Nazis.
The NextGen America ad depicts a mom recounting how the GOP turned her son into a criminal and a Nazi, before warning other mothers to steer their kids away from Republicans. “I started noticing some issues with him maybe in middle school. The stealing started out small, a few dollars here and there. Not from me oddly enough, but from less fortunate kids,” the woman says, as pictures of her son bullying minority students flash onscreen.
“He was never afraid to talk with girls, but things never really worked out for some reason,” she continues as her son is shown screaming at a woman while holding a sign that reads, “baby killer.”
“It wasn’t until I met his college buddies that I realized it might be too late,” the woman says, as an image from last year’s white nationalist rally in Charlotte flashes onscreen. “Only a mother can catch the signs early,” she concludes. “This Mother’s Day, talk to your child about the GOP. I wish I had.”
Republication National Committee (RNC) spokesman Steve Guest blasted Steyer for the inflammatory video in a statement released to TheDCNF.
“In smearing millions of Americans with patently false accusations, Tom Steyer has found yet another way to light his millions on fire ahead of the 2018 election,” said Guest, a former Daily Caller reporter.
Steyer pledged $30 million to the super PAC on Jan. 8, after already putting another $20 million towards a pro-impeachment ad campaign.
