Artists are creating a livestream performance about Gaza so British people can better understand the Palestinian struggle, according to The Guardian Wednesday.

The Station House Opera, a theater troop in the United Kingdom, will debut a performance called “At Home in Gaza and London” on June 28 to teach British people about the 140 square miles of Palestinian territory, The Guardian reported. The performance uses a multimedia presentation to showcase Gaza in the background while actors roam perform on stage. The performance will be showcased at the Battersea Arts Centre in London on June 28 to July 1 and at the Liverpool Arab Arts festival on July 9 to 10. (RELATED: The Palestinian Authority’s ‘Day Of Rage’ Over The U.S. Embassy In Jerusalem Smacks Of Desperation)

The idea was for the pro-Palestinian play was first conceptualized in 2010. Co-directors Taghrid Choucair-Vizoso and Julian Maynard Smith then crafted the performance following the 2014 war between Israel and the terrorist organization Hamas. The war was a result of the capture and murder of three Israeli boys. (RELATED: Erdogan Claims Hamas Is Not A Terrorist Organization)

“It was really important for us not to send over a play script or design a performance, finished and polished. Because that’s very presumptuous, it’s slightly colonialist. We wanted to work collaboratively,” Choucair-Vizoso said. (RELATED: When The Palestinians Blamed Israel For Violence At The UN, Nikki Haley’s Response Stuns The Room)

The pro-Palestinian, anti-Zionist Quds Day in London Sunday included protesters waving flags depicting Hezbollah, a Lebanese terrorist organization, according to the Times of Israel.
