Activists have already geared up in opposition to Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court, but they’ve been unable to dig up any significant dirt thus far.
Pro-choice group NARAL kicked off the attacks on Kavanaugh, Trump’s pick to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy, by making fun of his first name. According to NARAL, “Brett” is more fitting for a frat boy than a Supreme Court justice. (RELATED: Stephen Colbert Admitted To Knowing Nothing About Kavanaugh So He Ripped Him Over His First Name)
We’ll be DAMNED if we’re going to let five MEN—including some frat boy named Brett—strip us of our hard-won bodily autonomy and reproductive rights. #StopKavanaugh #SaveRoe pic.twitter.com/22GYMTVLgj

The Washington Post continued the crusade against the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit judge, asserting on Wednesday that Kavanaugh is “elite” for stopping at a local bar for a “Budweiser and a burger after coaching his daughters’ basketball games.”
While Kavanaugh went to elite educational institutions, WaPo admits that he is well-liked in his neighborhood and had a good time as a youngster, reportedly deeming himself the treasurer of the “Keg City Club — 100 Kegs or Bust” at Georgetown Prep.
WaPo published another article about Kavanaugh late on Wednesday that knocked him for racking up debt by purchasing baseball tickets for him and his friends.
Kavanaugh is apparently a huge Washington Nationals fan and racked up tens of thousands in debt buying season tickets and playoff tickets and making improvements on his home. White House spokesperson Raj Shah explained that Kavanaugh has since been paid back by friends for the tickets and has stopped purchasing season tickets.
“The credit card debts and loan were either paid off or fell below the reporting requirements in 2017,” WaPo wrote, adding to the non-scandal.
Political commentators have mocked the media and liberal activists for their reaching attempts to discredit Kavanaugh.
Brett Kavanaugh bought baseball tickets with credit cards, then paid off those credit cards.
Not only is that not really relevant to his position, but how is that a scandal?
Embarrassing. https://t.co/QFOtJug6KT

So Kavanaugh is being attacked for liking beer, baseball, buying season tickets on credit, having been in a college fraternity—and his name??? Well: 1. Dems need a better message team; 2. This is apparently a preview of how my nomination to anything will go.

So the worst you can say about Kavanaugh, apparently, is that he’s willing to invest in a baseball team guaranteed to disappoint every year, one way or the other. => https://t.co/1LRVEt7bU6
