President Donald Trump poked fun at MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and CNN’s “New Day” programs for trailing behind his preferred “Fox & Friends” in a Thursday tweet.
Wow, @foxandfriends is blowing away the competition in the morning ratings. Morning Joe is a dead show with very few people watching and sadly, Fake News CNN is also doing poorly. Too much hate and inaccurately reported stories – too predictable!

The most recently available ratings appear to validate Trump’s claim with “Fox & Friends” garnering 1.45 million average total viewers in the month of July, MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” getting 1.03 million, and CNN’s “New Day” trailing behind with half a million.
Trump is a frequent viewer of “Fox & Friends” and often tweets about segments and guests from the show. In one particular instance, he spotted “Fox & Friends” filming live on the North Lawn of the White House and decided to come down and give an extended interview.
