Lady Gaga went above and beyond for displaced victims of the fires in California.

TMZ reported the following details:

Gaga hit up a Red Cross Shelter in the L.A. area Tuesday night to deliver goodies — food, coffee and other items — to hundreds of people displaced by the Woolsey fire. No tip necessary. She’s all good.

Can’t say she’s not a woman of her word. Remember, Gaga — who was also forced to evacuate — went to a shelter over the weekend and told evacuees she’d stand by them through the crisis.

Again, it’s moments like these that remind us all that there is always a shining light, even in the darkest of times. Currently, the death toll is north of 40 and an unknown number of people are currently missing. It’s an absolute disaster out there right now as the fires burn wild.

Obviously, buying food and supplies for complete strangers isn’t going to bankrupt somebody like Lady Gaga, but that’s hardly the point. The fact she took the time to help others is a great gesture and an outstanding example for others to follow.

Hopefully, these fires get under control soon, people continue to come together and we can start to rebuild. It’s tough to stomach this much destruction and death.

Yet, we’re Americans and we always bounce back. You can count on that.
