LSU basketball player Skylar Mays had an incredible dunk Tuesday night against Memphis.
Mays slashed into the lane, elevated and crushed the Tigers’ soul as he threw down one of the nastiest dunks I’ve ever seen. It’s even more spectacular when you consider the fact Mays is only 6’4″.
Give the dunk a watch below. I think you’ll agree that it’s absolutely mind-boggling.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. You can’t allow yourself to get dunked on. You just can’t let it happen. Either foul the hell out of the guy with the ball to make sure he never gets near the rim, or get the hell out of the way. Any other option, and you’re likely to end up on a poster. It’s literally one of the first rules of basketball you’re taught once kids start to get athletic enough to dunk. For a scrawny white dude with limited athleticism like myself, that day will likely never come. However, I still played with kids who could soar, and I knew you took them out or got out of the way. It’s not rocket science.
Unfortunately, the Memphis players never learned this fact and now they’re all over Twitter and ESPN. They better learn their lesson because this isn’t going to get any less embarrassing if it happens again.
