Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray was tossed Monday night during a 117-113 win over the Mavericks.

For reasons I simply don’t understand, Murray thought it was a good idea to hammer Tim Hardaway Jr. in the groin while getting off of the floor. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Obviously, the refs didn’t like that and they sent him walking to the locker room. You can watch the play below.

Of all the things you can’t do in sports, hitting somebody in the genital region is right near the top of the list.

That’s an automatic reason to go in the world of sports. You hit somebody in the groin, and you deserve to get lit up.

For those of us who have taken shots to the groin, you know how painful it is. It stays with you for days sometimes.

It’s also just an incredibly dirty thing for Murray to do. He’s lucky the benches didn’t clear for a bit of instant karma.

Now, we’ll see if the league hands out a suspension of some kind or at least a very large fine. I think it’s safe to say he 100% deserves it.
