Authorities shared a photo Thursday of a woman hanging out of a window of a moving vehicle holding an AK-47, according to police.

The San Francisco Police Department’s Traffic Safety Twitter account shared the photo of the woman with the AK-47, and was allegedly taken at some kind of illegal racing event. Law enforcement personnel were able to locate the whereabouts of the Cadillac shown in the photo Wednesday and towed it, the tweet also noted.

“During an illegal exhibition of speed event at Barneveld & McKinnon, a passenger leaned out of a Cadi holding an AK47; see photo. SFPD Traffic Company personnel worked up a case, and seized this particular vehicle today,” San Francisco Police Department Traffic Safety’s tweet read.

San Francisco has been plagued by an increased number of shootings and assaults over the first six months of 2020, authorities claimed, according to Fox News.

In the first half of 2020, San Francisco had 58 total fatal and non-fatal shootings; but this year, that number has increased more than twofold to 119, Fox News reported. (RELATED: People Are Fleeing San Francisco In Historic Numbers, And The Reason Why Couldn’t Be More Clear)

“We’re almost double where we were in the last two years, and that is a huge concern,” Police Chief Bill Scott claimed during a July mid-year report given to members of the media, Fox News noted.

While shootings remain up, other kinds of crime, such as robberies, were down, even though videos posted to social media depicted individuals shoplifting from expensive stores like Nieman Marcus, according to Fox News.
