Kodak Black, 3 Others Shot Outside Justin Bieber Afterparty

Four people, including rapper Kodak Black, were shot early Saturday morning after a fight broke out near a Justin Bieber concert afterparty in West Hollywood.

“There was an unprovoked attack on an individual kodak was with, when security and kodak came to his aid, several shots were fired at them by an unidentified assailant. Luckily, this was all caught on video. Kodak was struck in the leg. It was not life threatening, he will make a full recovery and he is in stable condition,” Black’s attorney said in an Instagram post Saturday.

The shooting occurred at about 2:45 a.m. local time near The Nice Guy restaurant on La Cienega Boulevard where Bieber was hosting a party following his concert, CNN reported. The Nice Guy is owned by The h.wood Group, which did not immediately respond to CNN’s requests for comment.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is asking for assistance in identifying the assailant who fled the scene after firing the weapon. All four victims were admitted to the hospital and reported to be in stable condition, according to an LAPD news release.

Bieber immediately left the restaurant upon learning of the attack.

Los Angeles has seen a recent uptick in shootings, violent crimes and homicides. Other incidents occurred Sunday after the Super Bowl as some celebrations broke into violence.
