New Jersey Devils fans were not happy Wednesday after the team had three goals called off in their game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The NJ Devils would have won against the Maple Leafs on Wednesday evening had the ref allowed the three goals from the American side. The final score ended up being 2 to 1 to the Maple Leafs, ending a 13-game winning streak for the Devils, according to ESPN.

The fights between players throughout the game weren’t quite what we’re used to in the National Hockey League, but fans got pretty chaotic when so much kept going on for the Devils. In a video shared on Twitter, Devils fans can be seen hurling random objects onto the ice, forcing the Maple Leafs back into the locker room. (RELATED: NHL Legend Knocks Over Goalie, Falls Down, Ends Up Fighting 2 Players At Once)

The fans’ frustration grew to aggression during the third period of the game, ESPN noted. Footage shows the moment that Devil’s forward Eric Haula kicked the puck into the net, which was initially ruled a goal, but was quickly overturned in the NHL situation room, sparking the chaos.

“You don’t often see three in one game. But we saw three in one game,” Devil’s coach Lindy Ruff said following the match, according to ESPN. The team really made the Maple leafs work for their win, with the Toronto goalie having to make 34 saves throughout the game.
