Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is instantly one of the greatest owners in the history of sports for this move.

Berlusconi, who is the owner of Italian soccer club Monza, told his players that he would give them a “bus full of sluts” if they beat one of their top Serie A rivals — Inter Milan or Juventus. The video of Berlusconi telling his players this surfaced on social media Dec. 14.

“I told the guys … now you will play Milan, Juventus. If you win against one of these top teams, I’ll bring a bus of whores into the locker room,” the 86-year-old Berlusconi reportedly said at the team’s Dec. 13 Christmas party.

The viral video was denounced all over Italy by political opponents.

But do you know who’s not going to denounce this?

Me.

This kind of stuff is exactly what I look for in my sports owners. I want my owners to spend like a madman, I want my owners to go to the furthest extremes to win, and that includes promising a “bus full of sluts” in exchange for a big victory over a rival. And that quote — “bus full of sluts” — how fantastic is that?

Just because of this story, I’m totally going to make sure I have these games listed on my schedule — if you want to join me, Monza plays Inter Milan Jan. 7, and then Juventus Jan. 19. And quite frankly, I’m rooting for Monza, I want to see these guys pull off an upset and earn that wonderful “bus full of sluts.”

This is so fantastic.
