An upset mother was arrested in Pompano Beach, Florida, and charged with allegedly lighting a bed on fire over a bra.
52-year-old Henguer Alexandre is accused of burning a bed in an apartment unit because her son’s girlfriend was not wearing a bra, according to WPLG.

Firefighters in Broward County arrived to extinguish the fire inside the unit and reported damage and a burned bed. At the time of the fire, deputies ascertained that Alexandre was in the unit by herself.
Alexandre has been charged with second-degree arson as of Saturday, Jan. 21, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office website. She has been booked into the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Broward County, Florida. Authorities allege she has admitted to the crime. “When she observed the fire growing larger, she closed the bedroom door and made no attempt to extinguish (it),” Deputy Victoria Quinones wrote in her report, according to WPLG.
Alexandre has been in jail since Wednesday pending trial and currently has no expected release date. Her bond has been set at $7,500.
Alexandre was previously arrested and charged for aggravated battery back in August 1993 and was sentenced to state probation for two years.
