Legendary actor Danny Trejo is reportedly filing for bankruptcy in spite of not being in any financial trouble.

The actor is said to be filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Tuesday to avoid paying a hefty IRS bill, according to TMZ. The actor estimated he owes an approximate $2 million tax debt to the IRS and is reorganizing his finances in an attempt to dodge the bill. Trejo claims the tax bill is all a mistake, and is a result of mistakenly claiming for non-applicable deductions, according to TMZ.

The actor reportedly joked with reporters by saying he now realizes that dog grooming isn’t a bill he can write-off, according to TMZ.

Trejo is reportedly pursuing a personal bankruptcy filing which will ensure his businesses continue to thrive and remain unaffected by his personal financial situation. His business ventures are owned by corporations and LLCs that he has created, and the actor reportedly has seen lucrative profits from these business streams, according to TMZ.
