Chaos broke out in New York City on Tuesday when a boom mic operator covering Trump’s arraignment grabbed an independent journalist and issued threats, video shows.
An unnamed media member grabbed independent journalist Oren Levy by the hood of his jacket and dragged him backwards several feet while yelling in his face, “Don’t fuck with me!” Bystanders attempted to calm the boom mic operator and separate the two as the conflict seemingly became more heated, video shows. The man continued to pursue Levy after the two were broken up and threatened his life while swatting away bystanders’ attempts to diffuse the situation, according to video.

“Get off me!” the media member yelled at bystanders.
“I will kill your motherfucking ass!” he yelled in reference to Levy.
Levy later tweeted at CBS New York, claiming that the boom mic operator worked for the network and that his concerns about the assault were dismissed.
“Hey @CBSNewYork is this how your workers behave? I spoke with someone at your office already. And they dismissed me . Not nice,” Levy wrote.
New York City has experienced a flurry of chaos due to former President Donald Trump’s arraignment. Trump is reportedly being indicted on more than 30 counts related to alleged business fraud. The indictment is centered around an alleged $130,000 hush money payment Trump made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
