Democratic party megadonor Reid Hoffman, who was allegedly tied to deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, gave millions to a Never-Trump Political Action Committee (PAC) in the most recent fundraising period, Federal Election Commission (FEC) disclosures show.

Hoffman donated $4 million to the Republican Accountability PAC, a group dedicated to moving the Republican party past former President Donald Trump, according to FEC filings released on Monday. The group is run by Never-Trump operative Sarah Longwell, whose communications firm, Longwell partners, was the top recipient of the Republican Accountability PAC’s expenditures.

Longwell is also the executive director of Defending Democracy Together, a Never Trump group that spent over $20 million to defeat Trump in the 2020 presidential election, according to data from Open Secrets, a non-partisan watchdog.

Hoffman and former MIT Media Lab Director Joi Ito were reportedly scheduled to visit Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous island, Little St. James, in March and November 2014, documents reviewed by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) show. Hoffman told the outlet he visited Epstein’s island once on a fundraising trip with Ito and he previously apologized to Axios for his relationship with Epstein.

Hoffman gave nearly $700,000 in April to the Biden Victory Fund, President Joe Biden’s joint fundraising committee, FEC disclosures showed. He has given the $6,600 maximum donation to multiple Democratic House and Senate candidates running in swing state races. He also attended a June fundraiser for Biden in California with 40 other Silicon Valley donors.

The Silicon Valley entrepreneur has been a prolific Democratic donor in recent election cycles. He spent more than $14 million to support Democrats in the 2022 and 2020 cycles respectively, according to Open Secrets data. Prior to that, he funded Democratic disinformation campaigns in the 2017 Alabama senate election and the 2018 midterm cycle.

In addition, Hoffman funded author E. Jean Carroll’s civil lawsuit against Trump, where Trump was found liable for sexual battery and defamation. Trump paid Carroll $5 million in damages and he was not found liable for rape.
