Netflix dropped the trailer for “All The Light We Cannot See” on Tuesday, and it is absolutely haunting.

If you haven’t read the absolutely stunning novel that is “All The Light We Cannot See,” what are you even doing with your life? You need to read this book before Netflix drops the series on November 2, 2023, because it is one of the best ever written.

The trailer will give you a rough rundown of the plot. But fans will probably already be able to pick out many parts of the story that have been dumbed down for a wider audience. While I personally hate this, I do think it’ll still be a great story.

“There is too much story for two hours,” director Shawn Levy told Netflix. “The sheer runtime that limited series affords allows us to do justice more thoroughly to the source material [so that] it is indeed the novel come to life rather than the novel cut down to fit a runtime or format.” (RELATED: ‘Old Dads’ Seems Like The Movie America Needs Right Now)

Starring Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie as Daniel and Eitenne LeBlanc, Aria Mia Loberti as Marie-Laure LeBlanc, and Louis Hofmann as Werner Pfenning, I have zero concerns about these actors bringing such beloved characters to life. The series will contain four episodes and will be the perfect show to cuddle up with for the start of the winter season.
