Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reportedly arrested famous “Fear the Walking Dead” actor Sam Underwood for felony domestic battery Oct. 7.

Police were dispatched after an emergency call about a disturbance in a Los Angeles apartment at 2:30 a.m., TMZ reported, citing law enforcement officials. Officers were informed Underwood and an unidentified woman had been involved in a physical dispute and the woman allegedly had visible marks on her body. The actor was arrested and taken to jail, according to the outlet.

Underwood, 36, was booked and released after nearly 10 hours, TMZ reported.

It remains unclear what type of injuries or marks were allegedly visible on the woman’s body. The cause of the alleged argument between the pair has not been revealed at the time of writing.

Police said the woman did not require hospitalization or medical care, according to TMZ. The nature of her relationship with Underwood was not clarified at the time of the outlet’s report.

Underwood has provided his attorney with a plethora of information to defend his case, a source close to the matter told TMZ, including photographs, video recordings and audio recordings that he reportedly believes disprove the allegations of physical violence against him.
