Martin Gurri worked for eons as an analyst and manager at the DNI Open Source Center, where he earned many splendid bureaucratic titles but somehow learned a couple of things along the way. He is currently president and chief analyst at Fifth Wave Analytics. The theme of the revolt of the public was given a fuller treatment in his recent book, The Revolt of the Public and the Crisis of Authority in the New Millennium.
