LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is almost certainly going to win the Heisman Trophy.

The man in Baton Rouge has taken the college football world by storm, he’s thrown 48 touchdowns to only six interceptions, he won the SEC with the Tigers, he led LSU to a 13-0 record and they’re the number one team in the playoff.

You add all of that up, and it would take an act of God at this point for Justin Fields to take the trophy to Columbus over Burrow.

Do I think there’s a little SEC bias playing into Burrow likely winning the award? Probably, but the former OSU backup is also just a star.

He’s gone out and won at every turn. He took a good LSU team and made them one of the best teams the sport has ever seen.

When he cocks his arm back, it’s like watching a missile get fired on the battlefield. The Heisman race is over.

Burrow will take home the trophy December 14.
