The Alabama Crimson Tide are the favorites to win the SEC this upcoming football season.

According to odds from LVSuperBook, the Crimson Tide are at 5/4 to win the conference. They’re followed by Georgia at 5/4, Florida at 4/1, and Texas A&M at 10/1. LSU is a distant fifth at 12/1. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

You can see the list below.

Obviously, Alabama is always a safe bet when talking about who will win the SEC. Nick Saban doesn’t win it every season, but he’s been a dominant coach in Tuscaloosa.

Given that fact, you’d be a bit foolish to pick against him until he has several seasons in a row without winning the SEC.

Having said that, these numbers are just flat disrespectful toward Coach Ed Orgeron and LSU. Fifth? They’re fifth?

Did they not just win the national championship? Am I missing something? Yes, the Tigers lost some big pieces, but they still have Coach O.

As long as Orgeron is in Baton Rouge, the Tigers are going to be balling out. Texas A&M is ahead of them!

If I was an LSU fan, I’d be disgusted by these numbers.

LSU likely won’t win the conference but the fact so many teams are ahead of them is downright insulting. Never count Coach O out. If there’s one thing he’s proven, it’s that.
