NFL minicamps could be underway in a few weeks.

According to Yahoo Sports, there is a chance Roger Goodell has teams running minicamps as “early as June 15 or as late as June 27, depending on COVID-19 data and whether a handful of franchises get a ‘go ahead’ signal from state governments to resume full operations.” (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Football activities around the country have more or less been halted since the coronavirus pandemic started.

This is a great update. This one of the best updates we’ve had in a long time. Of course, nothing is set in stone, but starting June 15 would be huge.

If teams are in camp by the middle of June, then the war against coronavirus is pretty much over from the standpoint of sports.

If the NFL is confident enough to put players into minicamps in June, then I find it borderline impossible to believe we won’t have games as usual in September.

It’s been a long war and it’s been a tough war against coronavirus. Yet, we’re nearing another huge jump forward.

Hopefully, nothing derails all the progress we’ve made.
