A Salt Life founder has been arrested after being charged with the manslaughter of an 18-year-old woman.
Michael Hutto was taken to Duval County jail in Jacksonville on Friday, according to ABC 13. As of Sunday, he is being held without bail, the outlet reported. Hutto was arrested in connection with the death of Lora Grace Duncan, 18.

Duncan’s body was found at Palm Beach County. She had been shot, but police have not released any other details, according to ABC 13.

Hutto started Salt Life in 2003 with a group of friends, the outlet reported. He reportedly came up with the name of the brand, which is a fishing and surfing themed company. Salt Life released a statement claiming Hutto has not been a part of the company since the group sold the brand in 2013 for roughly $40 million, ABC 13 reported.
Hutto is set to be transferred to Palm Beach County. He will appear in court on Nov. 9 and has been charged with manslaughter and possession of a firearm, according to News 4 San Antonio.
