Pro-golfer Bryson DeChambeau was left reeling in pain Sunday after he raked his eyes with a thin rope during a golf event in Chicago.
The 29-year-old pro was playing at the LIV Golf event in Chicago when he tried to duck under a rope at the 14th hole after his shot hit the center of the flagstick, Golf.com reported. The golf star, however, came up too high when he tried to stand and see what his shot looked like and got smacked in the eye with the rope.
“Oh my God, what the fuck guys?” DeChambeau was captured on video saying. “Oh my fucking God. I can’t see. Shit! Oh, right in my eye. I can’t even see right now. The thing split my eye.” (RELATED: Bryson DeChambeau Claims LIV Golf Is Paying Him More Than $125 Million)

Despite his injury DeChambeau did sink an 8-foot birdie putt and finished six under par in a tie for eight place, the New York Post reported.
DeChambeau won $576,250 in prize money at the event, according to the Daily Mail.
