Sharon Stone spent an extended amount of time gushing over 32-year-old Austin Butler and boasting about their “special connection” Monday.
The 66-year-old compared Butler’s success with her own and fawned over him way too much for a woman that is 34 years his senior. The iconic actress drooled over Butler during the Los Angeles premiere of his new film, “The Bikeriders,” and her obsession with him was painfully obvious. The intensity in which she spoke of the young actor seemed misdirected, especially considering she’s old enough to be his mother.
“I really adore Austin,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the red carpet at TCL Theatre.
That statement would have been fine if she had stopped there, but Stone was like a cougar on the prowl and just couldn’t stop babbling about the Butler.

Stone pulled out her mama-bear card: “I know what his journey and destiny looks like and I want to make sure he’s cool,” as though she was some sort of important figure in his life. Why is she so concerned with Butler’s well-being, anyway?
“I think he’s such a great kid, and I love the way he’s coming on in his career,” she said. “I think it’s wonderful.”
Butler weighed in to say he met Stone at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022, but in spite of the fact that they only met two years ago, he seemed very attached to the much older actress.
“We have a really special connection, because when Elvis premiered in Cannes, she was sitting right in front of me,” he told the outlet. I mean — if that doesn’t reek of stalker — vibes, I don’t know what does.

Stone seized the opportunity to talk about how mesmerized she was over Butler’s premiere.
“I have to say, I’ve been in a lot of premieres — I’ve been to a lot of premieres in Cannes, and this is the only time I saw what happened to me happen to someone else,” Stone said.
Is she comparing herself to Butler now? They’re nowhere near on the same level for any sort of comparison to seem worthy.
Stone was practically licking Butler’s hair like a mama bear in a cave at this point.
“It was so incredible to witness this happen to another person, and I just wanted to make sure that he had someone that he knew he could count on no matter what,” she said.
Then, she followed up her own comment by saying, “it’s not easy to hold onto the rocket.”
Should we just mic-drop right here? Why would Butler need to count on a 66-year-old senior citizen for any sort of support, and why is she so hell-bent on playing that role in his life? She seems to be crushing — hard.

“This thing happens to you. It’s a very specific thing and it’s a light that comes on in you and others see it and people appreciate it,” she said.
It was so nauseating. Someone please tell Stone to sit her ass down. She had her moment. She lived through her heyday. I think she can find someone her own age to play with now — and she should probably figure out that Butler may want to do the same.
