Cardi B announced her third pregnancy, Thursday, after filing for divorce from Offset the day before.
This is the second time she filed for divorce from Offset, but sources close to the situation said this time, she’s going to see it through, according to Page Six. The couple share two children: a daughter named Kulture who is 5 years old and a son, Wave, who is 2 years old. The insider said Cardi B’s main focus at this time is “obtaining primary custody” of her children, according to Page Six.

Cheating rumors began to swirl when Offset was spotted publicly interacting with a woman he had dated in the past. He denied the allegations at the time and the insider said this incident is not what led to Cardi B’s decision to end her marriage.
The source noted that there were other issues plaguing the celebrity couple that could not be resolved.
“They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” the insider said, according to Page Six.
“This is something she wants to do.”
News of the divorce wasn’t surprising to Offset. The individual close to the matter said “they both have been trying to figure out what their future looks like for a while now,” according to Page Six.

“It’s not something that happened overnight … They’ve both been on the same page,” the source said.
“There wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger over time. It’s become unavoidable.”
Offset and Cardi B married in September 2017 and have broken up several times over the course of their marriage. Cardi B first filed for divorce in 2020, but then managed to reconcile. The famous rapper documented her tumultuous relationship on social media, often times making cryptic references to her marital struggles and relationship status.
